About LCF
It started on the river, not in a boardroom.
Left Coast Fly didn't start with a business plan. It started with friends dragging me to the river — one trip in, and I was hooked worse than anything on the end of my line.
Trout came first. Then bass got its teeth in me. Then steelhead — chasing chrome up PNW rivers through every kind of weather a season could throw at us. Eventually the addiction traveled: down to the Keys and out to the East Coast, throwing at tarpon and working the surf for striped bass.
Left Coast Fly actually started with my own kids. I couldn't find fishing shirts they'd actually want to wear, so I started making them myself. That was the whole idea at first — just gear my kids were excited to put on. Then it grew into something bigger: a full seasonal fishing brand, because the river doesn't care how old you are, but most of the gear out there sure acted like it did.
Everyone else on the water was stuck choosing between the big legacy brands or gear that looked like a hand-me-down from someone's uncle's tackle box. We wanted something with some style to it — gear a younger crew would actually wear on the water and off it. No beige. No dork factor. No compromise.
Every piece is made to order. No mass runs sitting in a warehouse hoping someone buys them — just print-on-demand, made when you order it. Less waste, more intention. Same way you'd want to treat the water you fish.
Tight lines. — Left Coast Fly
